Do i really need to change my intel stock cooler with id is-40x?

More often than not the stock cooler is fine for general use.

It's a 95w TDP cooler. So is the Intel stock cooler for most cpus, the larger TDP get the 130w coolers. So depending on which cpu you have, it's either going to perform roughly the same (noise as well) or it's going to be a miserable failure.

It's only advantages are looks and height, fitting mITX/slim form factor/htpc better than the taller stock cooler.

There are better alternatives, but price can be a factor
