Thanks for reading my post. My current monitor is a Sony SDM-P234 I purchased around 2005 or 2006. It still works fine so I don't "need" to replace it. Here is a bit of info:
Diagonal measurement 23"
Native resolution 1920 x 1200
Contrast 500:1
Brightness 250 nits
Latency 12ms Colors 16.7 M H/V viewing angles 170 / 170
Loudspeakers None
Connectivity VGA, DVI, S-Video, USB
I know that technology has evolved quite a bit in the last 7 years or so, but I paid roughly $2k for it, so I don't want to replace it unless I'm really missing out on something compared to the monitors available today. I don't see myself spending another $2k on a monitor, but I could probably rationalize spending up to $1k if a modern monitor was truly an upgrade to my current one. Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
