I'm putting together a new build. the CPU will be an Intel Core i5-14400. the build will be around $1,000. have been looking at GPU's in the $100 to $150 range, but have also been considering just using onboard graphics.
in 2019, I updated my PC with an ASRock Phantom Gaming D Radeon RX 570 8GB. it was on sale for $139.99 at the time. I was wondering if reusing it in my new build would be a good option.
I don't game. I may do some video editing. I use dual monitors. I don't think i have a need for a great video card.
so the questions would be 1) will there be any issues with compatibility with a new motherboard (since it's no longer for sale, I can't rely on online PC builders)? how will it compare to a new lower end GPU? how will it compare to onboard graphics?
thanks in advance.
