should i risk it with the r9 280x toxic

im thinking of buying a new gpu, i was looking at the r9 280x toxic from sapphire. On their website it said the card is 308mm long and on the case manufacture's site it said the case could fit a 310mm gpu. i was looking at the windforce 3x r9 280x but found out it didn't have a reference pcb. Im looking for a card with a reference pcb so i can put a water block on it further down the road. the r9 280x toxic seemed like the best chose as it has a reference pcb and a really good cooler on it.

i have a the aerocool xpredator x3 mid tower case..... so should i buy the card a hope it fits?? if not can you suggest a good card i should get.

At the moment, your best bet for GPUs is Nvidia actually. Since AMD cards are better at bitcoin mining, the prices have inflated a lot recently and only barely started to drop down. If you don't mind spending an extra 50$, I'd suggest this one:

yeah, i was looking at nvidia but i mostly play bf4 with my friends and the r9 280x is cheaper. The r9 280x also has 3 gb of vram instead of 2 gb. so atm im looking at amd cards.
