[SOLVED] Should I roll the dice to get another monitor if my current one has a dead pixel?

I recently bought the ASUS TUF VG249Q monitor from Best Buy, and it has a dead pixel near the top left corner of the screen. It's not noticeable at all, but the fact that there's a dead pixel is driving me crazy.

That said, I can exchange the monitor for the same model, but I want to know what are my chances of getting a monitor with some dead pixels again.
In other words, how common are dead pixels? Should I expect dead pixels again if I replace my monitor?

I know I have nothing to lose by replacing my monitor, as I can keep replacing it, but I want to know if I should roll the dice or not.

Exchange the monitor for free under warranty. All it costs you is the drive to Best Buy.

Not really common for monitors to have dead pixels unless they have been dropped or tampered with
