Should I run a separate router with this wireless gateway?

Right now, I have comcast cable internet. I get about 90mbps download and 11 mbps upload through their wireless gateway, which is a TG862G.

I have a spare linksys wrt54gs router in my house. I was just wondering, would I benefit from connecting this router to my wireless gateway and running two routers on my network? How would I do this?

On a wired connection, I will get 90mbps download and 11mbps upload. On a wireless connection I only get 20-30mbps download and 11 mbps upload.

What is the plan you have up and down?

These are wired speeds. Wirelessly, I only get about 20-30mbps download.

My comcast plan is supposed to give me up to 105mbps download.

I can't see any benefit from adding another router.
You would get the best performance from the wired connection!
I use my wireless for the printer, smartphones and my 3DSi XL.
