Only if you want a 200 to 300% performance increase.

Ebay is good, just make sure the seller has at least a 100+ rating if at all possible on big items. If not, use the escrow service.

Yes, sell and buy. I have purchased things off of ebay a number of times, including a gf3 and 9800pro. In both cases I bought them as retail boxes at significant savings over what I could have at newegg. When using ebay just make sure to check out the seller's rating and be willing to look around for the best deal. The day I got my 9800pro it closed at $60 under newegg's price while another auction I had put on my watch list closed at $20 over. Decide what you want to pay and don't get caught up in some bidding frenzy, just move to another card. Conversly, you could pay newegg by money order.

Yeah...I'm going to try to buy off ebay because I know I could get stuff for a lot less and I'm on a tight budget anyways...I could probably even get a new video card, motherboard, processor, and power supply for $300 dollars from what it looks like so far(not top of line stuff) but pretty decent stuff :)
