Should I sell my current Rig and buy a brand new when I can? or just wait and upgrade.

Okay, I'm an 18 year old saving for a car, I'm thinking of selling my computer to reduce the time it takes to purchase one. I've estimated the value of my computer at 715 (two years old) The goodies are as followed

MOBO-Asrock FM2A55m-DGS
APU(ikr?)-A10-5800k
RAM-g.Skill Trident 8GB DDR3 1439mhz(or something)
GPU- Radeon HD 7850 1GB the best aspect of the thing, this is when I'm reluctant to sell, the card still goes for a pretty good amount of money and i don't know if it'll be worth selling the whole thing for 700 and then buying an enTIREly new high end rig, which will probably cost me a lot. I wont settle for below what I have at this point.
I was going to just upgrade the Motherboard and the CPU, either an AMD choice or I could save a little longer and get an Intel. Digression end. Okay, no that you have an understanding, what should I do? Sell the PC and buy a new one after I purchase a $2000-$2500 car and then spend $ $1500~ on a brand new PC, or should I just not sell it and after I buy a car, upgrade the mother board and CPU, it saves me $1000~ in the long run. Discus!

If you're in the US, I don't want to burst your bubble, but your system isn't worth anything near that. I built my system 3 years ago (minus the SSD) for $570. Being that my CPU, and GPU are better than what you have in yours, and the RAM is the same, I would value you system around $350. And that's if you can find someone that really wants to buy a used system.

If you're outside of the US, then you might have somewhere around $500, but that's highly variable.

My advice to you is to save up and buy a car. Don't sell your PC, just wait and keep checking for good deals on cars so you know what a good price is and what you're looking for in a vehicle.

Hey thanks for the opinion! I am indeed in canada however, you're right about the price though, it would be cheaper than what I thought, putting more searching into it, thank you though! I'll keep the PC with me, it was my first and I'm a sucker for nastolgia. Do you have an opinion of what CPU/Motherboard I should look into?

That all depends on your price range. If you only want to spend around $200, I would recommend going AMD, but you'll get more performance out of an Intel setup. I'll give you a couple links of worst-to-best as far as performance goes.
