Hello and thank you reading my question.

I had this card for three years now, used it on a pre-built PC when i build it around 2016. With a new power supply and graphic card (GTX 980) to play games on steam. I'm thinking of building a new PC from scratch because i have never build one before.

Any answers is very appreciated.

It's ok if your don't want to overclock but if you change around some of the parts you can save money. More SSD storage, better GPU, more case cooling & cheaper.

You could further save more money if you went AMD Ryzen.

I have taken a look at the ryzen 2600 and i will go with that CPU.
Just in case someone else doesn't mention this, you do know that you can't use the build suggested if you use a Ryzen CPU, right? That was for the Intel CPU, the AMD Ryzen requires a different motherboard at the least.....I'd hate to see someone buy parts suggested only to try and pair it with a different CPU, could be a costly mistake.

I will look into motherboards and cpu and see which ones are compatibles before i purchase the parts when i’m ready to build. Thank you for your advice and i will learn from this.
