Solution
PS4 graphic is on gtx750ti level (thumb estimation).
Your PC is more powerful than a PS4.
The thing is, PS4 has those exclusive games. If you want those games, PS4 is the way to go.
PC still has it's own advantages like it's own exclusives and possibility to mod games.
If you plan to have a laptop, trading your current PC for a PS4 is visible but it is down to games you want to play.
Most AAA games are also available on PC.
My way of thinking has been always, if you see those games on PC, get them on PC. If you want those PS4/Nintendo exclusive then have those consoles as secondary gaming machine.
It is not about which one is better for gaming.
You will always need a PC or laptop.
You can choose not to game on it but you will need a PC for something else.
If that is your only PC, if you sell it, you will need to buy another one.
I would rather say to your friend, if he accept cash let say max USD250 for a second-handed PS4 pro or max USD180 for PS4 normal without any games.

I want to know which better for gaming cuz i will buy a laptop for work and other purposes
