Should I spend extra?

Hi, I'm not sure what graphics card to get the main games i will be playing is minecraft ftb and shaders so yeah it is either the gtx 760 or 770?

Shaders ? Minecraft is definitely not a GPU intensive game, so anything better than a GT 630 would max out the game ( Could go lower ).

if you'r playing ftb unleashed with shader mod and max settings, i dont think that gtx 630 will be enough if you want a smooth game with good fps

a freind of me have gtx 660ti and just with shaders mod max settings (without ftb unleashed or a texture pack) he runs minecraft at 30-60 fps
i didn't mean that he have to get a gtx 770 i meant that a 770 would be more than enough
he could get a lower graphics card but i'm sure that 630 is not enough for what he wants to use it for (ftb and shader at max)

I thought minecraft is a very CPU intensive game... Maybe you should invest in tons of Xeon cores!

Gtx 770 or 760, i5 4670k or i7 4770k 1 tb hardrive corsair h60 cooler that's pretty much it

GTX 770 + i5-4670K would be great. Are you overclocking ? If not, the i5-3470 would be enough. i7 is an overkill for gaming.
