Should I Swap my R9 280x for a GTX 970

Hello,
I bought an Sapphire Toxic R9 280x from Amazon a while ago.

I have recently purchased Advanced Warfare and when I play it, a fan makes a buzzing sound. When I put pressure on it, the noise stops.

As long as I can get a full refund on the R9 280x, I was thinking of getting Gigabyte's G1 Gaming 970.

I am just looking for some advice of what I should do. I've looked up on Game Debate the comparrisons and I feel as though they are quite even.

Yeah go for it.

280X Toxic is a fastest 280 out there. Upgrading to a 970 wont give you more than 20% more performance but you'l have 4GB vram that will come in handy.

Maybe, if you don't play on higher resolutions than 1080p, then maybe an R9 290 will be a better choice.

Right, well I guess I've made my decision. I'm currently walking back home from college, so when I get in I will hop onto Amazon's Live Chat and see if I can get a refund.
