should i trust amazon when buying a motherboard?

i've been in the market for a z77x-ud4h for a while now

i've been waiting for it to come back into stock on newegg but that hasn't happened so i'm looking for another reliable site to buy it on

i'm terrified of poor packaging and shipping being what puts me out $160 and motherboard-less

TigerDirect is trustworthy. So I would switch to that vendor.

As for Z77 motherboards, I would probably stick with a Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H. Pretty much the same and cheaper.

if i were to have to RMA the board, which site besides newegg would be the most reliable?

i'm very afraid of getting screwed and stuck with a DOA board :/

this is my first build so i really don't know if DOA boards are as common as they seem when looking at reviews

Yeah; I'd be cautious about buying any components from a Third Party on Amazon, unless they appear to be a proper business. I wouldn't buy components off some 'random'. 😉
