Should I try again?

Hello,

I am a very inexperienced computer builder. This is my first build and I needed some higher end parts for virtual music production etc, but didn't want to pay the premium for some dude to build it for me. I was able to basically build the thing, but I am having a problem when I try to install the graphics card.

Here are the Specs:
Sabertooth Z87 Motherboard
Intel 4770K processor
32 GB Corsair Vengeance 2133 RAM
1 120 GB SSD - Samsung EVO
3 500 GB SSD - Samsung EVO
Graphics card - XFX RZ950
Audio card - Audiophile 192
Corsair Hydro 100i
Corsair AX860 Power Supply.

The specific issue is that there is no display when I have the GPU installed. After failure when I first booted. I removed the GPU and was able load Windows 7 ultimate, and update bios etc. Once I re-installed the GPU the same issue occurred. When I removed the GPU the display still didn't work.

After reading the main help sticky here I reset cmos and bios - still no good. Finally I took out the RAM and was able to boot with 1 stick of 8GB ram in the slot. After that I was able to re-load new bios etc.

I guess my question is should I try to re-install this GPU now? Are my power setting high enough? Is there something that I don't understand? I haven't tried to install the sound card yet, as it comes from my old system (I did install it on that system) that I still need to use until this one is working.

Thanks, and again I am kind of learning on the fly here (probably not the greatest idea with the money involved in retrospect)

Yeah I might have to do that, but I would prefer to figure it out on my own first, if possible. In my bios I have the option of enabling both the GPU and IGPU, I did that, and also set the Igpu as the primary graphics device. I'm hoping that I will be able to install the card now, and at least see if there is some problem with it (without it killing my system). Of course, if it is a power issue, then I guess it will still not boot.

If that doesn't work, and I don't see any suggestions here, I'll probably just have to take it in to some computer expert in the area.

Update: I was able to physically install the card when I forced the IGPU to run as the primary, but the card is not being recognized by the computer. I guess my next step is to try it with a different card to see if it is a motherboard issue, or a card issue?
