About 3 months ago I upgraded all the main components in my system (cpu, mobo, ram, gpu) after my previous and aging system died.
I didn't reinstall windows after the upgrade, I just installed all the necessary motherboard drivers and didn't have any issues, apart from my headset occasionally disconnecting and loosing audio.
However, today I was looking through the backround tasks and noticed usb3monitor.exe running and it's also set to start with windows. I know this programm was part of my previous motherboard's drivers becuase it had a VIA controller for usb 3.0.
Is it safe if I disable this programm from starting with windows or remove it completely, since the new motherboard does not have a VIA usb controller? Could it be the cause of my headset occasionally disconnecting?
