I bought this 4gb ddr3 1333Mh Ram (http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-10666cl9s-4gbxl-) for my intel DG41wv Motherboard which has 2gb ADATA 1333Mh RAM.I used to work with a kingston 4gb ram that borrowed from a friend. So that I bought this new RAM .

The problem is that ,the RAM is not showing up in the bios and windows, But if I run CPU z ,it'll show total 6GB's .and the details of both RAM.

Also I plugged the ram into an Asus p8h61-m lx r2.0 motherboard, and it worked like a charm.(a friend's computer)

Is there a solution for this? Like updating bios to the latest ?

currently i have the version '0015' . But '0018' is the latest .

If you're not clear about something, please ask

well I don't know why the Ram isn't showing up in the bios, but you shouldn't buy two different brands of RAM, in fact, the Ram should be the same brand, same series, same size, and same bandwidth as well, so when it worked on your friend's computer, did he remove his RAM sticks and plug in yours?

just added it with the 2 gb he had before, total 6 gb's.

And I couldn't find any 1333mh RAM anywhere , The local shops in my town told me that ,1600mh is what they sell right now
