Hi everyone. I just installed Windows 10 and when i was looking for drivers on gigabytes website, i noticed that there are BIOS updates available for my motherboard. My current BIOS version is F3 and the newer one is F9. Gigabyte says that the newer versions have better support for 4th generation Intel CPUs (http://bit.ly/1iaC7TM). Should i update it?

Useful info about my PC:

Gigabyte Z87X-D3H
Intel i5 4670k (stock)
R9 380 G1 Gaming

Also, sometimes my PC won't start, it just turns the lights on for a second then shuts down. To make it work again i have to turn OFF PSU and wait for a min then turn it ON after. I read here that this can be a BIOS problem.

My PSU:
Tagan BZ-500 (Piperock) (from my old build).

There... Now you have a reason to upgrade the bios. It may or may not help with the power issue, but the only way to really know is to upgrade the bios. I really wouldn't expect a performance increase - unless they updated something(like CPU support) for your CPU.

Your issue could be a PSU issue. I don't know anything about the PSU, and it isn't listed here:
