Should i update my bios?

I have a Gigabyte z370 Aorus Gaming 5 and im not sure if i should update my bios or not, im still running F4 which is kinda old and im also concerned about me being affected by Spectre and Meltdown. Should i update my bios to the latest version (F7)?

My opinion on updating a BIOS is......if you aren't having issues...then don't bother.

I have caused myself problems by updating.

BIOS updates for CPU microcode are the ones to get for those protections from Spectre and Meltdown.

2.Improve windows boot time

1.Support Optane memory

But when i try from gigabyte app center, it doesnt work
Any clue why?

Install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 first before instalingl APP Center utility.

@BIOS doesn’t work properly probably, had the same issue , just do with a FAT32 USB Flash Drive
