Question Should I update the firmware for my HDD ?

I have a USB enclosure+Seagate HDD, after being inactive for sometime, the HDD goes to sleep and does not wakeup..I have to unplug/re-plug the USB to activate the drive again....Can this be due to the HDD's firmware ? or is it the enclosure ?

This does not happen with my other USB HDD plugged into the same port....So I am pretty sure it is either the enclosure or the HDD inside it...

Sounds like you need to go into windows power settings and adjust the settings for the usb or hard drive.

I have already done those....no luck..
