Should I update to Win10 ?

Alright I have a non-genuine version of windows 8 and It asks me everyday to Update to Windows 10 if I do will that be genuine ??

No it will still be not genuine if you upgrade. If you even can still upgrade the free upgrade thing ends today.

I've seen non-genuine builds activate just fine with W10.

I can't of course recommend that here, just saying I've seen it with my own eyes. Bro-in-law did it almost a year ago.

If you have issues you can try the CHAT option (linked from activation page) and see if they'll sort it out for you. Others have had luck there too.

If it's not genuine, then I would say no. I don't know what will happen, but I can't imagine they (Microsoft) will continue to let you use it.

Honestly, I've installed Windows 10 on my LoLtop (yes, it's a laptop solely devoted to LoL... long story) only, and it hasn't been all that great. I still use Windows 7 for a daily driver and it's great. Maybe I'll go 10 when I build a new one, but it just isn't worth it right now. I lose too much control for too few actual upgrades.
