Should I update? Will the gaming experience get better or worse?

I have been on 11 for a few months seems fine gaming wise to me. Haven't noticed any positives or negatives tbh.

In my two cent experience IF one of the following applies, stick with Windows 10:
  • You like to organize your Start Menu with groups or resize the Start Menu. This is not possible in Windows 11 as of right now (may change soon).
  • You like to be able to keep app icons from combining or you want them to show the app lable. You can "hack" Windows 11 to do it, but Windows 10 can be configured without hacking. Personally I like seeing all the apps with lables because if I have 10 Excel sheets open it's just easier to click on the one I need to go to instead of having just one app icon for all of them.
  • You like live tiles. Again, you can get an app to force live tiles on Windows 11, but Windows 10 has live tiles out of the box.
  • You have a tablet and like tablet mode. For some reason Windows 11 wouldn't give me a tablet mode for my Surface Go tablet.
  • You have a touchscreen and prefer the swiping gestures in Windows 10. For an example, swiping from the left brings up all your apps, which is very handy when using Windows 10 as a tablet. But in Windows 11 it brings up a widgets screen.
But if you like the following then get Windows 11:
  • If you like the news icon on the task bar that came out on Windows 10 several months ago, you may like the widgets section in Windows 11. This is what pops up every time I swipe from the left edge of the screen. Personally I find it pretty much useless, but I'm not everyone.

22H2 will resolve these 2, or at least, the grouping is gone. Not sure about labels.

live tiles likely gone for good
22H2 brings more ways to change the start menu, can group icons together at least.
Also makes taskbar more useful, removes many of the restrictions like dragging icons onto it.

The weather icon and the location of widget screen is hardly a selling point. I appreciate being able to see weather without opening widget screen now. It shows on the weather icon.
Perhaps the Android integration into Windows 11 is more attractive.

I don't know, I spent a month or so after getting it wondering what the main differences were. Its just windows, I don't know what we expected?
its not that much different to 10 for it to either be avoided or chased.
I have used it since August and apart from start menu, there really aren't that many differences. Sure, I have to look at 10 occasionally to remember what has changed.
