Should I upgrade 2008 Dell lap top to Win 10?

Hey there

I have Dell Latitude 6500- 2008 lap top. It was rarely used and still in very good condition. Originally it had a Vista 64 bit OS. A year ago I changed HDD to 500 Gb SSD and installed Windows 7 64 bit. Should I upgrade it to Win 10 or leave it at Win 7? It works good now. I am not looking forward to create problems. There will be no driver support for Win 10 from Dell. I installed drivers for Win 7 when changed to SSD. What is the risk? Should I leave it alone? I like Win 10 and it supposed to be lighter on processor (it had Core 2 Duo at 2.8 Mh). Thank you.

Extended support is security patches only. No more feature changes.
If you want the Free Upgrade to Win 10 for that, you have until tomorrow.

So I clicked on the Win10 icon, it opened window with the list of why I should upgrade and "Upgrade Now" button. I click on it and it says, "Please, wait". I am waiting and waiting and nothing happens. It says my computer is ready for Win10, so what are we waiting for? It is not a high traffic because of last days- I just upgraded another computer and it did not wait- it just went on to copy files and install. This one makes me wait. It is possible that the other computer had Win10 already downloaded. But should I keep waiting? is it an error? Did anybody see it before? Thank you.
