Should I upgrade card or stick with mine?

I built my gaming rig 2 yrs ago, I was wondering if I should upgrade some stuff on it?

I have

I7 intel core 920 @ 3.6ghz
6gb ram ocz
p6t mobo
EVGA gtx 285
Corsair tx 850w
Coolermaster HAF 932 full tower

now I wanted to know if I should get another gtx 285 run them in sli or upgrade to some of the newer cards?
and if anything else should be upgraded while i'm at it.
Also kinda was wondering if the cards have to be the same to run in sli if both cards have to be EVGA or can i put an BFG

Just as long as both cards are GTX285 regardless of manufacturer you can run them in SLI. I would personally upgrade to a newer card like GTX570 on top of that you could drop in a SSD as OS drive for faster load times. With or without an SSD you still have a great rig.

I don't think getting another GTX 285 would wise unless you can find one for under $100. You're better off getting a GTX 580. If it was me, I wouldn't upgrade anything. My GTX 260 SLI still runs everything just fine.

Do you have an SSD? If not, I would get one.

a buddy of mine is selling a gtx 285 for $150 I figured it was a good deal, and a nice way to future proof my rig I figured 2 gtx 285's running in sli will pretty much run anything in the forseable future. I dont have an SSD yet but I am looking into getting one for OS.
