I'm using powerline adapters plugged into my PC thru an upgraded Ethernet cable (not the stock one that came with the powerline adapter). My question is, should i also upgrade the ethernet cable that my router uses since its plugged into powerline adapter with stock Ethernet cable that came with the original TP-Link powerline adapter. Would it make any difference?

Swapping cables, assuming you have good cables now, will likely make no difference. Are you experiencing any performance issues?
Not really, maybe sometimes it struggles with 4k videos on YT, but anyway i was worried that the other powerline adapter in the other room with stock Ethernet cable was maybe limiting my PC's Ethernet cable true potential, and it feels kind of unfair to use one good ethernet cable and leave the other one with the stock one.

Powerline adapters are misleadingly labeled. A "500" adapter might only have 40mbit throughput. For 4K video you might need to upgrade to a newer model.
Which TP-Link adapters do you have (model) ?

Unless you have crap cables, that is unlikely the issue.

Any good quality (not Flat) Cat5e will work.

TP-Link TL-PA7027P KIT AV1000 with 2 Ethernet ports.

And made a test on Speedtest and got 142.55Mbps download speed and 192.44 upload speed, whilst having contracted 100mbps internet plan with my provider.

The Ethernet cable my PC is connected to is UGREEN CAT 8 Ethernet Cable High-Speed 40Gbps 2000MHz.

And the other powerline adapter's cable is the stock TP-Link Ethernet cable which i don't know how to identify to know what kind of cable is, it came with this model TP-Link TL-PA7027P KIT AV1000.

That cable is overkill and the one TP-Link provided with the adapter is likely just fine (as long as not a flat cable, those are junk).

Found it cheap on Amazon, has good reviews and it was below 10$ but yeah its an overkill anyway

And TP-Link cables are round, so i guess there is no foul play here just me overthinking.

I appreciate your feedback!
