Hello friends,
I have a second computer in my office that I also use for Photoshop CC (always updated) but it is very slow comparing to the other pc.
I believe the problem is the hardware. I really appreciate any suggestion for upgrades. Thank you!

The RAM (64GB) is fine.
The CPU, however, is very much out of date.

If you want to continue to use actual Photoshop, then yes, you need a much newer platform.

Is the PS use a paying gig?
Do you really need actual Photoshop, as opposed to many other less CPU intensive applications?

But...the i7-3820 is still pretty outdated, and in need of replacement.

I see... I am a photographer and always used Photoshop. But that is the only program I use in this computer.
Can anything be kept when I replace CPU? Graphics card, Motherboard..?
Thank you for your advice!!

Your current system is old enough that changing one part means changing everything else.

New CPU = new motherboard + RAM.
GPU? That's pretty old as well.
Probably needs a new PSU as well.
What specific storage drives are in this?

What is your overall budget for this?

Keeping your 2x SSDs, you can almost certainly build a new system for under $1k USD.

Start here, and some people will be long to build up a parts list:

You say it's ' very slow comparing to the other pc ', may I ask what the other PC is?
The PC I work every day is:

Intel® Core™ i7-9800X CPU @ 3.80GHz
ASrock X299 Taichi XE
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
64 Gb RAM (4x16gb)
