should I upgrade from 3930k to 5930k

I currently have a 3930k at 4.5ghz running sli gtx 780 ti I use msi after burner to measure gpu usage and its max at 76% when playing crysis 3 battlefield 4 and metro last light but at 1 card usage is 99 % so 3930 bottlenecks the card would moving to 5930k solve that issue

You shouldn't have that problem.

Maybe your cpu is getting too hot.

What cpu idle and gaming temps are you getting - per bios/uefi?

You would need a new motherboard and new RAM if you choose to upgrade (X99 and DDR4).

Cpu idles at 35c full load 55c I have a swiftech h320 motherboard is a asus p9x79 le memory is 16 gb gskill ripjaws running xmp profile 2133mhz at quad channel windows 8.1 psu Inwin commander 1200w
hard drive wd velociraptor 1tb 10000 rpm

Then your cpu temps are OK.

Are you measuring CPU usage with Task Manger or what?

I just watch the intel turbo boost gadget and the usage is at 4.5 ghz

OK - have a look in Task Manager when you're running a game and see what % usage your CPU is at. Also look for your gpu % usage at the same time in Afterburner. Post the results.

Cpu usage is 99 to 100% also tried two 780 and they are at 86 to 87 % tried 2 670s they are at 99 to 100 percent

That's weird. A 3930k should do better than that. An i5 should do better than that.

Yeah nothing is wrong with the cpu I think am going to get a 5820k instead of 5930k and ASRock X99M Extreme4 LGA 2011-v3 Intel X99 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard does anyone know where I can get a phanteks enthoo evolv online
