I was wondering if it's worth it to upgrade my GPU now or if i should wait for a new card to released maybe something like 760ti.
i put my pc together last Feb.

specs:
intel i7 2600K @ 3.4GHz water cooled with Corsair H40
GTX 560ti
ASUS P8Z68 DELUXE/GEN3
8GB RAM
120GB Mushkin Chronos SSD
500GB Seagate HDD

yea the 560ti runs all my games at full settings fine at the moment but was wondering if i should upgrade to have a gpu with 2gb or will 560ti suffice for future games as well?

I cant believe all the people who are telling you to hold off.If im not mistaken a 660 ti by itself is double the performance of the 560 ti.Id say upgrade you will see a huge difference.

Double the performance? What???

Don't buy anything in the 600 generation, it's really a waste of money for you. The 560ti is an incredibly capable card as is and your system isn't very old- wait at least another year and then maybe see.

It's only a huge increase if he's running a 2560 display setup. The reason for this difference is the extra 1gb of VRAM. But to be honest dude I don't think it's worth it to upgrade so soon, he should still be able to run basically any game without issues.

Uhh these tests are all at 1080p if anyone can truely sit there and say its not worth it after watching this then i dont know what else to say.I was wrong its over 100% difference at 1080p! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoWB1wOqlvI

Notice it says at the bottom of the review "GUYS PLEASE IGNORE THE 560 ti FOR NOW, WE ARE INVESTIGATING WHY THE BENCHMARKS ARE SO LOW"

Don't just see what you want to see. Plus, did you REALLY have to use a video with a persons voice so irritating it's like finger nails on chalk board??

ya they were talking about the minimum fps for the 560 ti not the maximum. The maximum fps for the 560 ti was right and in only one game did the maximum 560 ti fps match the minimum 660 ti fps.thats a 100% performance increase. That warrents an upgrade. If 100% performance increase isnt enough to upgrade then not sure what is.To be honest tho id go with the 7950 easily over the 660 ti at the same price point.Oerclock the 7950 and get gtx 680 performance
