Currently I am running an I7 7700K with a RTX 2080. I play on 1080p and generally get FPS at 80+ for most Triple AAA games on High. Would you guys recommend upgrading to an I9 9900K for games coming out such as Cyberpunk?

Thanks

If your satisfied with your performance then their no reason to upgrade.

I would never upgrade for a game till I tried it on what I have, I know their saying it going to take a strong PC but yours already is good. It's sort of bad for business to put out games that 1/2 the people or more with a gaming PC can't play.

Last big push I remember was Watch Dogs when before released they recommended a i7 processor so every panicked to upgrade and guess what it ran almost just as good on a simple i3.

For upgrading to the 9900K not a good idea since the 10700K is 100 bucks less.
Value wise the 3700X is hard to beat.
No, I have that chip and it’s more than enough to run literally any game. You play at 1080p, getting anything over than that is a waste of money and overkill.
