If your satisfied with your performance then their no reason to upgrade.
I would never upgrade for a game till I tried it on what I have, I know their saying it going to take a strong PC but yours already is good. It's sort of bad for business to put out games that 1/2 the people or more with a gaming PC can't play.
Last big push I remember was Watch Dogs when before released they recommended a i7 processor so every panicked to upgrade and guess what it ran almost just as good on a simple i3.
For upgrading to the 9900K not a good idea since the 10700K is 100 bucks less.
Value wise the 3700X is hard to beat.
