The 6850K might have 30-40% better performance in benchmarks, but your 3930K will probably perform exactly the same in real-world situations as it's more than fast enough to deliver 60+ FPS in the vast majority of games.

The amount of CPU powered to deliver 60fps at 4K is exactly the same as is needed to deliver 60fps at 720P, and I expect an overclocked 3930k is still up to the task in 99% of cases.
