[SOLVED] Should I upgrade my 2070super to a 3080

Back in April I purchased a 2070 super for my brand new pc. However, as you probably know, the new RTX 3080 just released which is an absolute beast and I will be getting a R9 3900x later this year so I was wondering if I should upgrade my gpu. I play at 1080p ultra settings on all games at 144hz so I'm on the fence since im not sure how much of a difference the graphics card will make at 1080p, I only really play esports games such as Fortnite and cod but i want the most competitive experience possible without wasting money. Any help is appreciated.

Nope not worth spending money if your going to play with 1080p and only two games that you commented with plus you playing on the ultra settings. Upgrade your cpu first

Yep also you can look into upgrading to 1440p at 144 with an new monitor

That will probably be my next move before I upgrade my graphics card, but for now, I'll stick to 1080p. In fact, maybe I'll even wait for 40 series.
