Hello there so ive been playing minecraft for a long time and i have never had no issues with lag.I run the game at average 70-100 fps but when i record this dramatically drops. So i was wondering should i upgrade my CPU or GPU becuase i have read that my CPU is good for gaming. I have around £150-£200 to spend.

PC Specs:
Intel core i5-3330
PH861-MX R2.0 Motherboard
8 GB DDR3 Ram
1TB hard drive

Since you are playing minecraft. I would recommend upgrading your GPU. Reason being is that it is fairly cheap. If you got a GTX 660 you can efficiently stream/record minecraft gameplay and continue to get great FPS even more if you Over Clocked the GPU (assuming you have sufficient cooling). I played minecraft on a toaster practically before and so GPU is definitely an upgrade that you would want to do first then think about an CPU upgrade down the road somewhere.
