Should i upgrade my CPU or GPU?

So currently my computer contains a AMD FX6300 cpu and a GTX 660 gpu.

And i was wondering if i should upgrade my CPU(must be AM3+) to one of the 8core cpus or
should i upgrade my GPU? I want to be able to play games like battlefront and the new games coming out this year with good looking graphics. Please help

For gaming upgrading cpu wont work unless intergrated graphics comes along with it but since ots for gaming upgrading gpu is a better solution...

Upgrade the GPU. The 6300 is sufficient for most games and upgrading to an FX 8xxx is not really worth the money, the performance increase would be negligible. I suggest overclock that 6300 some and get a gtx 960 or an AMD equivalent.
