Should I Upgrade my CPU or GPU?

Hey, I want the best answer for this question: Should I upgrade my CPU or GPU

My PC Specs:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Ram: 16 GB

I'm very confused between CPU and GPU but GPU have a sale right now and I can get the GTX 1060 6GB or Should I Upgrade to a High-End CPU?

I would buy a CPU today and get a GPU after the release of the next generations GPUs are released. GPU prices for the 1060 are going to drop even more as Nvidia will release a new line of GPUs this month. The 1060 is over 2 years old and its pricing is still a little high.

GPU is more important for gaming, but right now is not a good time to buy a GPU. In a month or two could save you a lot more money. Go get a good deal on a 7700k and drop it into your current system.

Take a look at this comparison between your cpu and my 2012 i5 3570k:

Your cpu is probably holding that gpu back a little, so I'd get a better cpu.
