Should i upgrade my CPU??

I have a i5 4460 @3.20 GHz, and im thinking of upgrading it since nowadays game is getting demanding on CPU. I have GTX 970 and i know it won't bottleneck it however like i said it's for games requirement. Anyway what's the best CPU out there that's good for gaming? i personally want to get my self i5 4690 but some people said get a i7 instead i dunno... should i even upgrade my CPU?? what do you think?

That would be a waste of money, your i5 is still great for gaming. I would wait for a new technology and then consider a upgrade. I have the i5 4690k great cpu but since you already have a i5 i think the real world difference in fps would be minimal

Yea im thinking the same too, i probably gonna wait maybe next 2 years then see if there's new CPU around
