Should I upgrade my CPU?

I currently have a AMD FX - 8350 4.0 GHz 8 core processor.

Upgrading my CPU also means updating my MOBO so I’m curious if it’s even worth upgrading it.

Depends on your expectation. If you have a decent gpu and it is being bottlenecked by your cpu and of course you have enough money to buy new parts then yes it absolutely worth it. If what you do is web browsing and basic gaming then no need to. Your full system spec and expectation will answer your question.

The current Ryzen line is much better than the FX series, so I would say an upgrade is worth it. But if you upgrade, you need to upgrade RAM as well.
