Should I upgrade my CPU

So I'm currently using a i7-6700K which is running at 4.2 Ghz. The CPU is fantastic and gets great FPS when gaming. But I do YouTube almost everyday. So I'm constantly rendering and editing videos in Adobe Premiere. I need a CPU that gets great FPS in games and can handle rendering at 1440p. Should I upgrade or stick with what I have until I can make like a Ryzen Build just for rendering videos.the 6700k can render a 24m video at 1440p in about 40m which isn't that bad but I wouldn't mind shaving some time off,

Solution
The only upgrade to your CPU available would be to get a 7700k, which would make a minimal difference in what you are doing. Waste of money IMO.

Unless you're prepared to upgrade your platform (motherboard and processor) you have no upgrade path for this.

Yeah I knew without upgrading Mobo I would only be able to to go with 7700k, Should have mentioned that.
I'm ok with upgrading my mobo for a new cpu. Mainly just trying to get different ideas from people and see which route would be best for me.

Yeah I mean any 6-8 core CPU is going to pay you dividends in rendering video. You should consider the Ryzen 7 2700x for this, best price/performance. Gaming and Rendering.

Alright, would you recommend just using the 2700X as my main cpu or use it in a second computer and use 6700k for main gaming computer.

The 2700x is a great gaming CPU, you will not lose any performance gaming with it.

Are you streaming or rendering and gaming at the same time? If so the 2700x can do that too, very well.

Solution

Mainly I'm recording Let's plays then I render. I stream from time to time. One more question. So I've built a handful of computers and all of them were Intel builds. I went with the hyper evo 212 in all of them for a cheap and good air cooling route. I don't now much about AMD. Would you recommend Air Cooling or Liquid cooling

So you should just run the 2700x

The 212 EVO was good in its day but old and very outdated. Get a Cryorig H7. You do not need a liquid cooler, a good air cooler like that can do the job very well.

Alright, thanks for the help!
