So i have a really old pc currently, which i do want to upgrade. It has an Asus P5K motherboard.
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66Ghz, ATI Radeon HD 2600XT 256mb vram, 3GB ram, 400W PSU. So here is what i want to do. A new PC that can handle every game at 1080p 60fps is atleast $800 which i cant afford because im 15 and have no income. I want to buy 2x 2gb sticks and change them up with the 2x512mb ones so i have 6gb ram. That is like $50. And what i need help with is the new gpu. I want a low end gpu. Does not have to handle games like R6S and Subnautica at 1080p 60fps with lowest settings (im fine with above 45fps). I could also game at 720p. I just want something that i can use before i turn 18 (in 2 years and 2 months) so i can buy myself a new one when i get a job. Im thinking about the gtx 750ti but do i need that for 1080p 60fps on rainbow six siege? Also i dont know should i get a better cpu cause i can play subnautica now with 30fps after tweaking stuff, but i get stutters cause of my ram. Im not sure if i need a new CPU so if you can clear me up on that id be greatful.

Looking at these prices if you really wanted to you could get a Intel Core 2 Extreme X6800 which is not a huge upgrade but better than nothing so in the end you would end up with a pretty decent rig

With those specs i could run anything at 1080p 60fps but thats waaay out of my budget range.

Like $200 for the gpu and RAM. Also they are usable for games like WoT, WT and everything pre 2013. Everything after i have to play at 800x600 if i want atleast 25fps. And like i said im going to buy a new pc in like 2 years and my budget then will be over $1k but currently only $200 cause im a child. Also i forgot to mention i have an HD 5450 that im overclocking in my pc but its not good for much (yes i have 2 gpus).

well in that case id go for something like RX 550 and use rest on ram that matches the frequency and voltage of your current ram which in your case schould provide a huge boost in performance

I don't really think you would need to pay 50$ for 2x2gb ddr2 RAM. That goes on eBay for about 15$ . http://

I myself have a very similar system to yours, and am going to update it with 4x2GB ddr2, a GTX 570 which is a little power consuming but overall almost the same as the 750ti but cheaper, and a CPU such as the Core 2 Quad Q9550/Q9650 .

Why would you need 400mhz ones? From what I can see online the motherboard supports 800mhz, and you could also get 8GB worth of it, doesn't really cost that much http://
