should i upgrade my drive to ssd

i have an older gateway gt5408 desktop, I just upgraded 1gb ram to 4gb and it is faster. will also be worth upgrading the drive to a solid state drive? and if so can I use Samsung brand and which one would best suit my computer? thanks for all your help

If you want a responsive windows would that help,but the drive would be limited by the speed of the sata 2 ports that probably are on the motherboard.

The Samsung 750EVO is a nice drive if cheaper than the 850EVO.
