Alright so I built my gaming PC for Christmas and it was successful. Kind of surprised that it booted straight up without any errors and built the system within 2 - 3 hours. I'm currently looking to upgrade the GPU to something a bit better. Was looking at the Asus GTX1060 ROG Strix 6gb GDDR5 Card. Just wondering if it would be worth upgrading to that from a Gigabyte 1050TI 4GB ? Or should i just save and go for a 1070 or even a 1080 ? Although i'd rather get something around the 500 - 800$ mark. What's your thoughts ?

I think you should get a highly overclocked version of gtx 1070 like asus strix or something.

Or

Get a Asus strix 1080 which will cost u 849.00 $ at amazon.com But if u can increase your budget to 50$ more , then go for a Asus strix gtx 1080 ti.
Its a beast and is 20% faster in games when compared to gtx 1080.GTX 1080 ti consumes 250 watts while GTX 1080 consumes 180 watts.
It will rip anygame at 1440p or 27" monitor.Asus Strix gtx 1080 TI edition will cost you 899.99$.

Consider getting a GTX 1080TI over 1080.It will be money well spent.
Hi,

Get a ssd like Samsung 750evo 250gb or samsung 850evo series.

Asus STRIX Gtx1060 6GB is significantly faster over gtx1050ti.You can also get a 1070.Its a beast card for 1080p and decent for 1440p.

Also 6Gb buffer on STRIX 1060 and gtx 1070 are going to work well with games in future too.

Alright thanks to both of you. As now i have just realised, i added my old parts list before i updated the motherboard lol. It now has a MSI Z270 M3 Gaming motherboard. I'm currently looking at a GPU on PCCASEGEAR which is just in my budget. The Gigabyte GTX1080 Windforce OC 8GB. Thoughts on that gpu along with my setup ? Also remember it has a Z270 mobo. Sorry for the incorrect parts list.
