Question Should I upgrade my GPU from an RTX 2060 6GB to a 4060 Ti 8GB ?

I've been waiting a long time for the performance of my card to start waning. Which even now the card is still pretty strong, but I want to get a VR headset in the future, and the card from everything I have seen has a hard time staying a consistent 90fps. I say the 4060 Ti because NVIDIA has NVENC for virtual desktop I don't know if it matters if I plan on plugging in my Oculus Quest. Anyone got advice?

I haven't seen anywhere that it would be a bottleneck, but I can see that it might be an issue although a small one. So you are saying just get the VR headset and test it out? I've also steamVR performance test. I don't believe the test has been update in a long time and really isn't indicative of the current quality of VR games. I did get a complete "Ready" score though.

just about 20fps more with e.g. a 13400 and 2060 (the 9400f is about 6 to 10 fps better)

i meant with a 4060ti, the bottleneck would be more noticeable
