Should I Upgrade My Gpu or Cpu

I currently am using a i5 7400 @3 ghz and a gtx 1050 ti. I was wondering if it would be a better idea to upgrade my cpu to a i7 7700 (my mobo does not support oc) or to upgrade my gpu to a gtx 1070. I know either upgrade would be compatable with my system, so that is not a factor. My goal is to be able to stream on twitch, while staying above 60 fps. When I am not streaming I get 140 fps. I would love a new gpu but that would probably bottleneck my 7400. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

If your aim is better FPS while streaming then definitely upgrade the cpu to an i7

Then he needs a new motherboard. A 7700 will drop into his existing motherboard.

I think telling someone to change his whole get up when he asks only cpu or gpu is unwarranted as the 7th gen system is plenty powerful to do serious gaming.

streaming requires a I7 to do it right, so that will be my suggestion,
know that streaming also really needs 16GB as well, another thing to consider.
