[SOLVED] Should I upgrade my GPU?

Hey guys. So I currently run an i7 3770 (non k) and an RX 570 4gb and I'm thinking of upgrading my GPU to an RTX 2060 / super. As far as I can tell from benchmarks and videos I shouldn't have much trouble with the CPU / GPU combo. I'm just wondering if this combination will be a good match for 1080p / 60fps ultra gaming as some games I struggle hitting 60fps on my current setup.

Solution
Depends on the game, at 1080p a 3770 will hold back a 2060 at least somewhat in modern CPU heavy titles. If all you want is 60fps it should achieve that in the majority of games.

You can find out for sure by monitoring CPU and GPU usage in the games you play. If GPU usage of your 570 consistently dips well under 100% usage in the games you play then getting a 2060 might not improve performance all that much in that game.

I'm currently playing Apex, The Witcher 3, Fallout 4 and maybe Rdr2 and Fallen Order.

I would like to upgrade to 2k 144hz in future but I'd upgrade to a Ryzen 5 2600x and a new monitor for that first.

I'm getting 40/50 fps @ ultra in the witcher 3 right now but I'd just like a smooth 60.
