[SOLVED] Should I upgrade my Graphics card

Hi I have a system with a 4770k (non overclocked) and a GT 640 while running heavily modded minecraft I have noticed major stuttering and frame rate drops to below 1. I was thinking of getting a RTX 2060 would I have a GPU Bottleneck and would this fix my problems.

You should wait for the RTX 3000 series if you're planning to upgrade your cpu and gpu if not then you should upgrade it to 2060 because I'm afraid that the 3000 series will bottleneck your cpu.

actually 1660 TI is really what you need for those specs save money for upgrade and 3000 series later

You have an older computer Save your money and just get a use graphic card.
