should I upgrade my GT 620? (non-gamer)

Hi,

recently I have purchased a dell vostro 470 pc:
i7 3770k
12gb DDR 3 1600mhz ram
Corsair CX 550 PSU
GT 620 1gb Video Card
seagate momentus xt 500gb HDD
HP 2509m monitor (1920x1080)

as you can see I don't have a decent video card. I'm thinking of getting a better one, but the thing is I'm not really a pc gamer, so I'm not if I need to upgrade. I mainly use my pc for video playback (mkv, 720p and 1080p), some programming/photoshop. I was told the HD 6670 and HD 7750 are the best I can get for $50 or $500. Please advise if I should upgrade my video card

Given the uses you have listed, I don't really see any advantage to upgrading your GPU. It should be fine for your needs. Are there specific problems that you feel make an upgrade necessary?

If theres nothing wrong with it i wouldnt suggest upgrading it. But if there is something wrong with it id get a 7750
