should i upgrade my GTX 1060 6gb to GTX 1070 / gtx 1070 ti or wait for GTX 1170

so i decide to upgrade my graphic cards,

i've been playing skyrim heavy modded and got stutter with my current GTX 1060 6GB

i read some threads that suggest 1070 only worth it if you playing in 1440, and 1060 is enough for 1080

but thats for normal gaming not for heavy modded skyrim, and then there is future GTX 1170

what should i do?

better wait for gtx 11xx, as usual, gtx 1160 is supposed to be in par with 1070 or better
true that on most games, 1060 6gb is more than enough for 1080p, unless your cpu is bottlenecking the gpu
before going to upgrade, what is your cpu? or use skyrim mod that helps performance

so there are nothing no gain if i get 1070?

my cpu is i5 4440 3.1ghz

try using the mod that reduces unnecessary objects, see if it helps,
without mods, i5 4440 with 1060 6gb should getting 45-60fps at 1080p ultra

try using msi afterburner to monitor the cpu and gpu temps and usage
