I currently have an FX-6300 and GTX 950 (2GB ASUS Strix) and play at 1440x900 resolution @ 75 Hz. Would I find it worthwhile to upgrade my graphics card to one of the following, and which one would be better overall? Would I find better value in upgrading my processor? Would I be fine with my current build?

One of the most intensive games I would think about playing in the future is ABZÛ and would like 60 FPS with medium-high settings, for reference.

GTX 1060 (3GB/$189.99) - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487263&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

RX 480 (4GB/$164.99) - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131706&cm_re=rx_480-_-14-131-706-_-Product

ofcourse my standarts vary , compared to yours.

to summarize, you are happy with your current pc to an extend.

1) those card cant peform a 100% with your system
2) new graphics card will be released , by the time you upgrade your mobo, cpu , you might get a whole new pc.
3) why wont you buy a new monitor first? you can set monitors to lower resolution, and watch films in ebtter quality. i think thats a better investment.

I mean for a new motherboard and CPU (not a new FX processor), possibly DDR4 RAM if I don't go for an older model of an i5 to save a few bucks. I was looking at an RX 470, but a 480 would be just $10 more on sale, so I was looking into that card for the reasons of it being quite cheap. Would there be issues if I buy an RX 480 now and upgrade my CPU later down the road?

I'm pretty content with my current system, but I'm just unsure of how it would hold up in the next few years. Would you consider a GTX 950 and FX-6300 some parts that still have a couple more years in them since I have a lower resolution (900p)?

Though these are great graphics card options, you may want to just wait a bit and do a complete overhaul. I also agree that you would be better to invest in a new monitor now and then upgrade your motherboard/CPU next and later to a new GPU. Upgrading in this order would be most cost efficient.

To be honest, I am actually quite happy with 900p. I have an ASUS laptop that has a 1080p screen, and I obviously notice a difference, but I think I'll just use this monitor till it goes bad or it is beyond outdated.
