Okay, so a brief description. So, I play game such as Cities Skylines, Football Manager 2019, but looking to play more AAA titles.

i currently game at 1080p and am in the process of looking at replacing my aging screen, so potential to upgrade to 1440p.

Current set up -
i5 4570
Radeon RX580 (8gb)
32gb RAM
250gb SSD

Any help would be appreciated, will the investment be worth the outcome.

Cheers
Sean

Ofc the investment will be beneficial.
If you have good budget go for ryzen 2700x or 2600x. If thinking on intel ill say i5 9700k or 9600k.
Or if you are in mid range go for 2600 or maybe 1700x(dont go lower than 1600 as it is not good to pull apart 1440p gaming)

Ya i forgot to tell you that you need to change your mobo and ram also to ddr4 so they can run the latest processors.
Otherwise i5 4570 is good

Yup, happy with the replacement of all the components....its a shame, but sure i can find a way to re-use them/sell them.

In terms of size, I was looking at a micro atx board as I want to have a smaller tower. Are there any cases/mobos combos you would recommend. This will be my second build, my first was in 2013 that I am still currently using.
