[SOLVED] Should I upgrade my memory

Hey guys, right now i have a 16gb kit of Samsung ddr4 running at 2666mhz. is it worth spending money on a 16gb kit of corsair vengeance DDR4 at 3000 mhz ? also not sure but my motherboards says it only supports up to 2666 but can i overclock? thanks in advance.

it depends...
If the cpu is intel,it wont get you more fps
if the cpu is ryzen,you will se 10fps or more in games
if the mobo says 3000 (OC) that means that you can overclock samsung RAM to 3000,but i dont think a ram with stock speeds of 3000 can work with your mobo (i at least think)

If your motherboard (which one?) says it only supports up to 2666mhz than is there no reason to upgrade, it just doesn't support higher speeds, and looking realistically is there really no reason as well.
