Well, do the games you currently play at your settings stay at 75 or higher FPS? No sense getting a monitor that your GPU can't handle. And 75 FPS for things like first-person-shooters is a minimum. I think you'd better off, if possible, to wait for a while till you have more money and can afford a better 120 FPS monitor or something that would give you a better boost in gaming.
 


My pc can handle games at high-ultraish settings(well, depending on the game) pretty well, I want a high refresh rate for games like Lawbreakers, CSGO, Dirty Bomb, Overwatch, etc which I can probably run all of them over 144 fps. Should I spend the money on a budget 200 dollar 144hz freesync monitor that might look washed out or get a budget 200 dollar 75hz monitor?
