should i upgrade my motherboard ?

so i have a asrock x58 extreme 3 , and i was wondering will i notice any difference in gaming performance if i upgrade it to a high end m.b like ASUS ROG Rampage IV ? what will become better if i buy this m.b ?

It depends on the other parts. Gaming performance is mostly affected by gpu and cpu. Unless motherboard is bottlenecking those part in some way, you won't notice the difference and you would be better served buying a new video card.
